Dear Reader,

    Happy Chinese New Year! I wanted to get this issue out before the
    holiday season came around ^_^ I know it is traditional for
    people to repay what they owe or "clear-up" old debts before
    Chinese New Year (def: process, take care of). I thought I should
    also clear some remaining "open issues" that I brought up in past
    "Path2English" issues.

    I remember getting many emails about issue #35, "What is possible
    in Taiwan?" Do you remember this issue? I mentioned some very
    amazing teaching results at my JacksonFive English School that
    almost seemed impossible. I received many readers' feedback on
    this issue. I didn't give any comments on your feedbacks at the
    time. To "set the record straight", (def: prove something, to

    As the New Year rolls around, I have some additional plans for the
    school. Unlike our newsletter, which is virtual, the school's
    reach is limited. I have had some requests from parents in
    Taichung to open a school nearer to them. To be honest, my
    student Jessica, is even planning to relocate closer to our school
    after Chinese New Year so it would be more convenient for her and
    her daughter to attend our school regularly. Isn't this
    incredible? This led me to think, "should I also consider some
    other locations for my second school?" "Maybe, I should ask my

THIS ISSUE's FEATURED TOPIC:

This week's original topic, "Let's make 'ed' simple?" will have to be
moved to a future issue. Since it is Chinese New Year, I think we
should learn something more appropriate. I have found this great
English website that goes into great details about the traditional
Chinese New Year. I'm surprised how many new things about Chinese
New Year I learned there. There is a "wealth of information" here
so instead of "reinventing the wheel" (def: doing something twice,
wasting time and money), please visit them instead
