Dear Reader,

Have you seen the movie, "Bruce Almighty"? It is so funny and worth
renting (on DVD). The following are some good lines from the movie
that I would like to share with you.
"People ask me to do everything for them when they have the power to
   do it themselves."
  "Be the miracle!"
"And that's the way the cookie crumples." (Def: "That's the way
   things go.")
To get the most out of the movie, I would suggest watching it twice.
First with the English subtitle (words at the bottom) turned on, and
then again with it turned off (only listening).

I've seen it 3 times with my older students already and I still like
it. There were some Christian materials that I needed to "fill them
in on" so they can understand the humor better (e.g. parting of the
Red Sea by Moses becomes parting of the tomato soup). This is a
movie that has a lot of comical observations about American culture
(not all of it untrue). Let's hope if you were given the same Godly
opportunity, you can do a better job ^_^ I don't know if I would
  want the job. Do you?

There is also a movie which I've found excellent for younger
children. It is called "The Iron Man" and you can rent it from your
neighborhood Blockbusters. The ending is so powerful and moving that
tears come to my eye every time I see it (I've watched it 8 times
already). Tip: the part where the robot jumps in the lake is very
funny and you might want to pause and play it again.

Last week, I promised to show you some special pictures (below). Did
you know everyday you spend a lot of time awake with our eyes open?
However, have the things around you made an "visual impression" on
you? I have collected some pictures to help stimulate your memories.
Have a look and tell me what you see. Email me your answers (note
the "special" email address below). Don't be shy.

I need your help on something. I would like to write this JacksonFive
Newsletter every week (wouldn't that be fun), but I need some advice
  and support from you.
