Reader Replies to Jane

Hi, JacksonFive,

Thanks for your contiuously forwarding benifitial passage and topic to me,
I think I can learn more with your help. I read the following letter from Jane in
Shen Zhen, word by word, very carefully, yes, it's very hard to say " I have
accomplished my dream", usually, for certain reason, what most of people
doing differ from what they are dreaming, and they don't know which day they
can realize their dreams, including me, maybe including Jane, yes, it's really
hard. But I think that as long as we try, we struggle, even we can't make our
dream true, we can say we succuss, "Succuss" doesn't mean money, fame,
the narrow aspect only, but the process that we're struggling is what we're
pursuiting.
While, I think Jane is a person who make the proper decision at the corner.
yes, it's very hard to choose when you're not clear what you want, or you
know what you want, but you're unwilling to give up, that is also many people's
shortage, anyway, Jane made a decision finally, in spite of the career that she
has now, maybe it's also a successful career, but she choose. I appreciate her
for this point. And I like to make friend with her, for learning more about life,
dream, everything. Should you help me foward my mail address to her, or if
she agree, give me her address?

Thanks, and may you happy every day.
Candy

Dear Jane:

After reading your article, I admire your action. Though we have a nice
dream, few people can reach it and catch it. Therefore, I am shocked by your
making so tough decision. Current world is changeful world, everyone live
in cut-throat competition circumstance. So everyone lose break-new-ground
mind, as well as put out any sparks of inspiration in their minds. Everyone
only live for live, no dream, no hope. Life became grey, nobody can rush out
this web which is burden of life. Fortunately, you can wake up immediately
and make your hard decision. Whereas, could you tell me what you would
do after you study English?Seeking new job in company or making a teacher?

Cheers

Hi Jackson:

As reading Jan's letter, there comes the same feeling to me incentively. I'm
encouraged to feedback and share my feeling with you all.

One and half year ago, I was a Math. teacher in the senior high school and
got lots of fun with them, boys and girls. The hearty laugh is all around in
the air and I'm always surrounded by the stutents. Even if in my office,
they come to me and share the their feeling on everythiong to me. It's so
warm that touched my heart deeply. Before I left there, they hold a dinner
party and sent me a great bundle of flowers to me. This is unforgetable,
impressive and thankful.

However, I'm left the position of a teacher and become a business man now.
The tough work get me into a very different world. The latest news and
information are all acceptable here and creat a whole new view to me. I
contact with foreigners, American from eastside and west side, UK and even
Japan.

Things changing and make me miss them much. It's the most happy time I've
ever had. To be a youth as I am with youth together. They are always in my
mind and I'll pray for them always. Then maybe many years went by and
suddenly encountered by the street, I will be a youth again.

Thanks for Jan make me remind the past happily, the beautiful memory is
always charished most.

Regards,
Rico

Hi,

While reading the email from Jane, I find much similar similarity between us.
Both gave up teaching and will give up current job. Though I gave up teaching
2 years ago, now I find that I dream to be a great teacher.

Sasha

Hello JacksonFive,

After reading through Jane's e-mail about her dream of being a good teacher,
I would like to tell her that it's not too late to carry out her dream at this time.
It's never too late to learn things in life, as long as we have desires of being
better people to the environments we live in, even to this world. Also, we have
the passion for life. These should be a strong power to have us move on as
days go by.

If she did not give up her previous teaching job before to take another job, she
might not have realized what her real dream was so precisely. I would like to
say, she's so lucky to clearly know of her real dream at her current age that
she still has a lot of time ahead to work hard to have her dream come true in
the near future. Some people might have tried to take various jobs since they
graduated from schools for a long time, but still might not figure out what their
dreams would be throughout the whole lifetime. That would be sad.

Everybody is a teacher of others because each of us is unique and special in
this world. The only difference is how much and how well we can do to
ourselves and other people in all aspects. On the other hand, everyone is a
student as well. There are always things we should learn in life, including both
sides of good and bad.

Jane already had a nice beginning with her dream. Her goal is so precise in
front of her now, all she has to do is to stick to it and physically get it fulfilled.
It's not easy to give up her current job after she has been working for many
years. Those experiences during this period of time also will help her to well
think about how to become a good teacher. She also may look at the role of
a teacher in a different field of view. That will be very useful to her for being as
a good teacher, I think.

Jane is brave enough to go for her dream. I cordially hope that her dream will
come true very smoothly in the near future. Also, the same hope to those
who do know their dreams very well.

Sincerely Yours,
Lydia Liu

Hi Jacksonfive,

I've read Jane's email and want to say a few word. I'm young and I leaved my
town and came to Beijing, the capital and one of the biggest city in China four
year ago. I do it since I have dream, not for money or fame, but for my dream,
to enlarge my vision of the world. When she gave up teaching, she must have
other dreams, whatever dream she has, she did something to pursuit it. I do
not think it's stupid.

Anyway, I hope she is still a dream-chaser as I am.

Sincerely yours,
Yan Lei
